Sort of Preg Related: Alarm System Question
We've been meaning to get an alarm system, but with On the way we r getting our butts in gear. We've seen a lot of commercials/specials for Slomins & ADT lately.
Do any of u have any experience with either of these companies, or even another company? We r open to all suggestions. TIA!

Re: Sort of Preg Related: Alarm System Question
we wound up with a private company that my dh knew. Slomin and ADT were extremely expensive. They did not include any of the equipment and it was going to cost us way over 5-6 thousand. Otherwise they work well.

Re: Sort of Preg Related: Alarm System Question
we got slomins, the installation was actually cheaper than other alarm companies quoted us, but the other bad thing is that you're locked into a 5 year contract.

I was tempted by slomins & I DID notice the 5 year thing.
are you happy with slomins though? as far as price/functionality/service?

Re: Sort of Preg Related: Alarm System Question
We have Slomins. The installation was FREE. We had a few issues after installation bec the sensor was picking up the dog. They were always there to fix it, help, etc. I'm very pleased. Now they have the video surveillance.

i've only had it since december so far no problems, but when they came to install it it took 2 full days from like 9am-7pm when they told us originally it would be like a day and a half (so i felt like a prisoner in my house waiting for them to finish, haha). i believe the basic system is free but we had windows added on so thats why it cost us extra.
