Sort of a TMI question...
The past few nights I have been sleeping SO soundly  . I normally get up 2 or 3 times to pee, but haven't for the past 3 nights or so. (I guess my body just needed that sleep!)
When I get up in the mornings and go to the bathroom, all that comes out is a little tinkle for a long time. I would think that it would come out in a more heavier stream. And it hurts - almost like I'm trying not to pee, but really, I'm trying to push it out.
Has this happened to anyone else?
It's something else I have to ask at my visit next week.

the pain causes me worry. honestly - call the doc now and let them know. you may have an infection starting and better to let them know NOW than wait a week (or even over the weekend) and have it get worse on you....

Sounds like a UTI. Call the doc. It could be from holding it in all night

Call the doc and drink some cranberry juice!
I can't stand cranberry juice so I get these cranberry chews at CVS- they come in a blue bag.

I've had UTIs's before and this feels nothing like one.
Maybe I'm describing it wrong. It's almost like I'm trying to hold it in (ever stop mid-flow?) and get it out at the same time. Not so much a "pain" pain, but more of a discomfort...

you're pregnant now (in case you didn't know  ) - nothing feels the same, not sex, not food, not using the bathroom.....it could be a UTI and you just are feeling it differently...
the WORST thing the doc can say is come in and let's have a look and you get to see the baby!

I've had that when I woke up in the middle of the night but ignored the urge to pee (pre pregnancy).
Then when I finally do pee, it comes out in a tiny stream and feels like it might take 20 minutes to empty
I didnt have pain, it just felt weird.
if it's pain I would call the doctor. Best to have them check it out.

I am not pregnant but this has happened to me before...the pee thing! I dont know why either but I will sit there and pee for like 90 seconds!

This happens to me when I hold it for too long. What happens is the bladder starts to have a spasm because you pi$$ed it off by not peeing when it wanted you to. It is pain like ouch that hurts not omg that burns (the burns one is uti). If it only happens when you hold it for too long you should be fine. You can get home uti test kit at cvs just to be sure. But I found even "symptomless" uti's have symptoms they just sneak up. I have one now and it caused peeing constantly, pressure in the uterus and cramping.

sometimes i wake during the nite and have to pee but im too damn tired to get up..LOL
so when i do go..it comes out slowly and i feel like i should peeing like a race horse...
could be from holding it all nite. i just suck it up now and get up.

I have a UTI and the dr. said pregnant women usualy don't have symptoms.. that's why the urine tests are so important!!
