Sorry it took so long to post! Matty is here!
Hi Ladies!
Sorry it took so long to post- I've been wanting to but it's been so crazy! On 11/29 we had our baby boy- after 48 hours of AWFUL labor.
I labored at 7cm refusing an epidural (very stupid- never again!) for 5 hours. Finally, no progression. I took the epi and pitocin and my Dr. said Matty's head was wedged sideways. So, I had a c-section. The recovery was very hard for me but I'm starting to feel better now.
Most importantly, Matty is beautiful and healthy and such a GOOD baby! He was 7lbs and at his checkup today he has regained his birth weight and is 7lbs 6oz. Breastfeeding has not worked but I am pumping and should now change my screen name to Bessie as I can supply milk to Haagen Dazs...
but he hasn't latched on well so I will just be pumping I guess...
But he is so beautiful- I will post pics as soon as I can! Just wanted to say hi- I love this board!

OMG... 48 hours You poor thing And then he was sideways I'm telling you, he didn't want to come out

Congratulations Sweetie!!!!!!! I have been checking back to see how you did - sorry you had such a hard time but at least he's being a good boy to make up for it!!!

I am sorry you had a rough delivery but you are right, the important thing is that Matty is HERE and HEALTHY!!

I've been thinking about you and I'm so happy to read your post! Congratulations! I can't wait to see pics and to meet Matty when he starts daycare with Katie! I can't believe he's finally here!
I'm sorry labor was so hard and you had a c/s...I feel your pain! Recovery for me was slow too but it gets better every day. I hope you're feeling better soon!!
