Sorry, another mortgage question
When shopping around for a mortgage do you have to give ALL your information to every place?
Do they all check your credit and if so how many times can your credit be checked without it being a problem?

Usually, every bank we visited wanted to see our paystubs and W-2 to get an idea of what our assets were, and they took my word on my student loan.

I think anything checked within a 2 week period is considered one check (I guess they understand that you shop around) after the 14 days I think each check drops your score about 3 points.
This is just off the top of my head of what I remember - I'm no expert

30 days for a mortgage- just make sure NOT to apply for other credit during this time- that will drop your score alot
