Re: Sorority Spin Off
Hmm...Yes, I was in one. Would I do it again ? Not sure. I made some awesome friends who are still my best friends now. So it's a tough call.
For me, it all depending on my friends in the dorm freshman year. I went to school 800 miles away from my home not knowing a soul. I met great friends in the dorm and we all rushed and wound up at different sororities. If they all wanted to forgo rushing and wanted to get an apt - I am sure I would have been game for that too.
Greek life was huge as school - there were over 40 sororities and like 70 fraternities.

Re: Sorority Spin Off
I was in one and I would do it over in a heartbeat. For me, the bar scene got old after 1 semeter, so having parties and fundraisers and formals to go to made college a lot more fun and more things to look forward to!

Re: Sorority Spin Off
I went to a huge school so the greek world made it much smaller for me. I rushed/pledged first week freshman year. It was a great way for me to meet people that I wouldn't have ordinarily met. I also loved living in my house when I did.

Re: Sorority Spin Off
I hated pledging and loved it at the same time. Looking back, I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. I just wished I kept a bit more involved in the college itself as well.
