Soreness in Vaginal Area
Tomorrow I will be 17 weeks and since the weekend I started to feel sore in my vaginal area. I spoke to my midwife today and she said it is normal and that my body is stretching.
Anyone else experiencing this as well? With DD I cannot remember if I did feel this soreness down there.

Soreness, shooting pain from time to time, cramping, sometimes even numbness... yeah it's all a normal part of stretching since your nerves connect down and around that area. If it feels really horrible, talk to your doctor and you can take a tylenol. Otherwise, drinking extra fluids seems to help (although then I'm in the bathroom... more...) but time helped too. I haven't had it as bad since the 2nd trimester.

Thanks so much! I spoke to my midwife yesterday and she said it is quite normal and eventually I will start to feel better.
