YAY. I got myself Tivolis after I got them for MIL but I'm drooling over the Joan of Artic in white.

Nay.
I have the Joan of Arctics... wore them a few times then had to give up. They kept tearing up my heels. Thin socks, thick socks, long socks, short socks... didn't matter. I hated them.

I bought these Sorel boots a month ago and love them! Keeps my feet warm, and no issues with sock slippage or water seeping in. I think I found them on HauteLook or Rue LaLa:

I have a pair from forever ago, and I like them, but they are so heavy! My calves hurt from wearing them for more than a few hours.

I thought the Joan of arctics and the cate the great looked great online and I was so close to ordering them until I came across them in the Columbia store. I tried them on and found them to be so huge/bulky looking and heavy! I would consider them for real snowy winters!
