Sore throat?
Hi all,
I read on a few websites that a reported early pregnancy symptom is a sore throat- anyone know why or how this is a symptom?

I personally have never heard of this as being a symptom but I sure hope it is being that I had a sore throat at 9-10DPO and now its gone. If I get my BFP soon I'll let you know
ETA: It wasnt so much as a sore throat that I had but it felt like my upper palate was irritated, yknow? How many DPO are you?

I got a random sore throat when I was PG. It lasted a day or two.

I wonder why that happens. I don't have one but I was just curious @bettybcafe I'm only 5 dpo and hope that that sore throat was a good sign for you!

Yea, I honestly dont know either. I googled that last night and also found that it indeed could be a symptom. My temp. did drop dramatically today and I am 12DPO so Im thinking AF is on her way...

I read it has to do with your immune system being suppressed. I had a sore throat and stuffy nose for a few days during the 2ww I got my BFP

That's what I think too. I checked FF and I felt it at 7dpo. I wrote that I was just feeling run down and it was so odd because I was feeling great being on my prenatals. I hope it's a symptom for you.
