Sore bleeding gums

what do you do? whenever i floss, its like i'm spitting out blood.. and then my gums sore.. brushing in the morning also makes them bleed.. last night it looked like someone had punched in my mouth.. bloody mess do you anything to reduce the inflammation.. help

i think it's just one of those things that you have to deal with... at least I do. I brush, I floss, and its a bloodbath but it is what it is. I find it's gotten worse as the weeks go by actually.

I had this and went to the dentist just to make sure I wasn't missing anything. He did a quick really painful cleaning. He said since it's been a while the little bit of plaque I had was irritating my gums. Two days later I felt back to normal.

I am experiencing this as well. I had some thing in my previous pregnancy. It doesn't get really bad until the 2nd and 3rd trimesters for me. I went for a cleaning last week and it has helped. The dentist told me to come back in a few months for another cleaning if I wanted to to help ease the symptoms. He explained that the bleeding is hormonal and par for the course of pregnancy but the professional cleaning will help ease the irritation in the long run. As soon as I had DS it was so much better.
