well i feel that they are setting the scenarios for up and coming episodes....
How the two heads of the families are appearing weak..

and i am thinking that or Tonys crew will knock him off
and then blame Johns crew, using that to knock off the guy the Johns wants killed
Meaning that Tony will use Vito's death (even if he did it himself), kill the guy that John wants dead in retaliation...
SO they both come out on top and stronger than ever

Dont ya all remember on LIW them talking about the Sopranos filming at Leonards like a year and a half ago or so? Everyone was saying it was meadows wedding and preticting that for this season 
I thought it was a filler episode , but still good!
I find it hard to believe Vito would have killed himself, only cause that other guy did and that adds nothing to the storyline, but something strange Im sure will come from why he is "missing".

It was a good episode it definately "opened" things up. Hopefully things should starting getting good.
The whole wedding and Tony falling, and John crying really tested their leadership skills. Tony is back!!!
425K may have been high but these people are like celebrities they get the best of everything.

If Vito did kill himself in the motel, then how come the "family" hasn't heard about it yet? Sil said he heard from him a couple of days ago. Wouldn't the motel contact the police and then his family...so they'd have to find out...right

My aunt and uncle are friends with a very wealthy couple. They spent $400k on each of their daughter's weddings: one was at The Plaza, the other was at (I think) the Ritz Carlton.
They provided transportation for each guest to get to the wedding and back. They used the band that played at Michael Douglass's wedding. And, the centerpieces were these GIGANTIC things that were suspended from the ceilings.
So, it really can be done.

MY DH's uncle works at the Plaza, and he said he has seen people spend $400,000 just on flowers. They were imported from another country, so it can be done.
On teh Sopranos..... they had 400 people and a seafood bar. Yes, they had to pay for all teh surveilance, so it CAN be done.

I think that it costs that much because he had to pay for the Marshalls and all the servaliance stuff himself....although it does still seam steep
