sooooo frustrated with waiting...(updated)
it has been over 60 days with no AF and lots of BFNs
i have an appt with my regular OB/GYN tomorrow...hopefully he can get AF to come and then i will be making my appts with an RE....
i'm nervous to find out something is "wrong" with me even though i already know i have endo - i guess its just hitting me that i need to see a specialist
so i had my appt yesterday...everything went well..good news: no new cysts grew since i stopped BCPs...and since i have endo i was scared it was going to come back!
he took 2 vials of blood to test my thyroid and other hormone levels to see why i did not ovulate. He also did not want to give me anything to make AF show up until he got the results. So i guess i will be AF free for another 2 weeks until my next appt!
i am relieved that i went and now maybe i can start with a diff ttc plan
thanks ladies for listening to me..sometimes i just need to say it to someone...only DH and my bff knows the details

Re: sooooo frustrated with waiting...
i am sorry your dealing with this. i know how frustrating it is. however, i think going to the RE is a great decision bc you will actually be able to make a game plan. I am happy I started seeing my RE when I did. good luck!!!

Re: sooooo frustrated with waiting...
awwwwww that stinks- my last cycle was 42 days- so I was getting really frusrated too. I read in "what to expect before youre expecting" that once you hit 60 days w/ no AF, you should go see your Dr. So you're doing the right thing.
GOOD LUCK!
When i went off BC in August- I didnt get AF for over a month- so I went to my OB and she gave me Provera- which starts AF- so maybe they'll just give you that..... keep us updated!

I don't have any advise for you, but I just wanted to say that I'm glad you were able to see your doctor and are on your way to getting some answers.

Re: sooooo frustrated with waiting...(updated)
I recently went through something very similar and the blood work revealed that I have hypothyroidism. I now take synthroid every day (and will forever, but it is safe during pregnancy).
I did take a progesterone supplement to bring on my period and that worked, and I did have one normal cycle since then, but I was told to wait until my TSH levels get under control before going back to trying.
So, it was disappointing, but ultimately not a terrible thing to be dealing with.
Believe me - as the four millionth person in my life just announced today that they are expecting, it's frustrating, but in the end I was happy to learn that I am dealing with something very manageable and someday it will be my turn to make the announcement!
