Soooo...guess who showed up today

I'm not really too surpised b/c we weren't really "trying" per se - just being a lot less careful - however I was kind of hoping that it might just happen anyway. Last month was my first time using the OPK and I figured it was kind of a "trial period" for us. DH is really against the whole charting, and testing and temping thing. He thinks we should just let it happen when it happens, but I'm a bit more realistic and know that it is not always that easy. I bought some more OPK's for this month anyway. Maybe I just won't tell him about them  . Is that bad??? I just am not so sure that letting nature take it's course will get us preggo in the time frame we were looking for.

I thought AF was slowly showing up today too...but now I see nothing. So - I haven't lost hope yet!

sometimes i don't think DHs know just how difficult it actually is to get pregnant...unless you're a fertile myrtle, it can be extremely tricky!! so many things have to happen exactly perfectly...so i don't think it's bad that you do more OPKs...i say go for it! i think of OPKs as just a little "helper" to make sure you BD at the best time!!

As for your DH, I don't think he realizes how difficult it can be (took my parents 8 years). I think sometimes it is like wedding planning...let them know when they need to be involved, keep them excited, but if he doesn't want the lists and the charts and the intense scrutiny that we girls do, don't go into too much detail.
