The last time there was a storm like this my dope of a boss decided to go out and clear the sidewalk by the office and made me stay an extra 1 hour plus... I was so scared driving home. Today I said to him since we finished up early I am going to leave early. he said, "that is a good idea... fine... okay." I wait 15 minutes and tell him I am leaving and he says .... "wait till I finish my charts, then you can go! I was sooo mad. He must have figured out how angry I was, and then apologized to me and cleaned off my car, but I was pretty angry and still am.

I got word around 1:00 that we could wrap up what we needed to complete, and leave around 2:30 or 3:00. My terrific boss was pushing to get me out of there at 2:30 or earlier!  Roads in Suffolk were messy and a bit slick, but not that awful. Though I grew up driving in much worse in Michigan so this stuff doesn't phase me - I'm not the best judge of what's considered "bad" around here.

got out at 4 instead of 6....... i was so suprised they NEVER let us out earlier, and last months snowstom i had to use vacation time to leave at 430

my boss definately did not, be he sure was going to leave early (we'll he tried to and still got out at 10 to 6) But I'll let him slide considering his wife had surgery 2 days ago and his sons were off today so she is recovering with a 6 and 8 yr old running around.
