sono tech slip
I went in for a sono today at 32 weeks...told the sono lady again that we dont want to know what the baby is (we have seen her quite often!). She asked what I thought it was, and I said I'm 50/50, but if I had to guess, I would say boy. She said, that's probably because you have 2 boys at home. Then she was showing me all the different parts, and said "he has...the baby has their hand behind their head"
I know there's no definite answer, but what do you think, slip up or not?

i know they usually refer to the baby as a "he" in general if they dont know the sex or u dont want to know the sex of the baby. i wouldnt think to much about it

I agree. . I think people often just use he or she depending on so many things, habit, what they have, etc. . I would stay open. .

I wouldn't stress over it too much. I've told my sono techs in the past that we know they are girls and they still default to "he"

We were team green with DD#1. The sono tech called it a HE and I burst into tears because I really did not want to know. Then she was stumbling over her words telling me that she calls them all HE so she never slips and didn't she tell me that in the beginning. I was like UM NOOOO!
Anyway, I believed she slipped, I totally thought it was a boy AND.... it was a girl. Guess she was telling the truth(or she guessed wrong)
