I had my ultra screen today also, and the crusty Sono Tech refused to even look at the private parts!
I was sooo excited after I saw all of the Moms on here that got "educated guesses" on their baby's sex at the ultra screen. I mentioned this to the tech, and she said "Sorry, I don't even look in that area." 
It was still nice to see the little monkey. I think he's a he!! We will find out soon enough I guess.
This just made the pg real. I have been soooooo sick, that I really forget that I am even pg, I feel like I have some neverending illness.
So, Ava will have to wait a while to see if she will have a sister or a brother!!!

That's horrible, and I think a crock of you no what! They see the entire baby, and my tech knew ASAP she must have seen something right away....but hey at least you will have a surprise to look forward to.

lazy techie! I bet the techie just didn't want to search for the bits.

The tech I had at the ultra screen wouldn't give a guess either. Hang in there. It's nicer to find out when they are more positive anyway!

same thing happened to me at the sono i had at my amnio. the tech said she couldnt tell, and was so cold that day, i was so annoyed! i had to wait for my amnio results to find out that we are having a  .
