Re: sometimes I can't feel him!
My sister did because she also had a anterior placenta. She got nervous one day and went for monitoring and the Dr said it is completely normal.

Re: sometimes I can't feel him!
AP is a total mind fcuk... one day you feel everything bc LO is in the right position and is kicking/punching a spot where the placenta isn't... the next he/she decides to snuggle up to that internal pillow and you feel nothing. Not to worry though, when you're further along, and he's kicking the sh!t out of your insides, you'll wish you entire uterus was covered in placenta.

I don't have AP but I only recently have been feeling him more and more. I figure he has a nice layer of fat to hide him.

Re: sometimes I can't feel him!
I don't have an AP but I didn't feel really regular constant movement until 28-29 weeks or so. It was much more sporadic until I hit the third trimester and the doctor said that's totally normal.

Re: sometimes I can't feel him!
I had an anterior placenta with DS, the movement around that time was very inconsistent. I'm sure as the weeks progress you will feel A LOT more movement!

Re: sometimes I can't feel him!
I have AP placenta too and at 23 weeks I am feeling her more, but still inconsistently.
Today I've had a couple of movements that I could see from the outside so that was cool! Still too inconsistent to have DH feel it too, but at least I feel her more than last week. But no where near as much as when I was pg with DS (didn't have AP with him).
