Something so sad that I saw this morning!!!
DH was bringing me to the train and said that there was a bad fire in Bay Shore on his way home late last night. The street was closed down and he couldn't see where it was, so he drove past the area this morning to see what happened.
Right across from Southside Hospital there is a florist called Patthey Flowers and it is completely GUTTED!!! Apart from feeling so bad for the owners (who I have bought flowers from before) I can't stop thinking that some ladies may not be getting their valentines flowers today.
To top it off, the store had just been renovated last year when a drunk driver crashed into it, demolishing the front facade and it was about 90% finished from being fixed after that accident!!!

I saw this on News 12 this morning. The flames were BURSTING out of the building. So sad

I can't imagine. The loss of business must be devastating to the owners. Hopefully they're working with another florist so they don't lose the business.
