Someone dress me for a wedding......
A Sunday night in May at Flowerfield......
size 10
GO! 
Seriously, I have been shopping for weeks and nothing. I'm tall so the short dresses are too short but I dont' think a gown is the way to go.
If I could lose 20 pounds by May 17th I'd have like 5 dresses in my closet to choose from

Me too! Except the wedding I'm going to is May 16 and I'm still managing to zip up a size 8 (barely).
All from Nordstrom:
this one has been posted a dozen times and I love it but I wonder how short it is
I've seen this on a 'real' person (models aren't real) and it's gorgeous if you like lace

I saw that dress on the site and love it. My problem with belted dresses is I'm so tall and my torso is long so the belts always hit me in a wierd spot.
Maybe I'll just wrap myself in a sheet

I have the same problem with dresses being too short in the bodice. I can never shop online because I have to try on about 46 dresses before i find one that fits.
I can't believe I am saying this but have you gone to JCPenney. I refused to shop in that store and then as a last resort went there after being told 100 times to check it out. They actually have a good selection of dresses and always have great prices. Now when I need a dress it is the first place I look.

You are the 2nd person to tell me to go to JCPenney. I went to Walt Whitman today, tried on about 100 dresses and walked out in tears.
*** is up with the styles that are out now? Short dresses with ruffles everywhere - fitted dresses.......omg, I have a BUTT, these do nothing for me except reiterate that I need to lose weight LOL.
I tried Annie Sez as well......ugh, nothing.
Maybe this weekend I'll head out to Roosevelt Field with my brother's girlfriend and shop with her.

it just looked very 'you' who knows, maybe you should go try it on, you might get lucky!!! i hate dress shopping. HATE.

I'm no help! I have a wedding in June to go to, but it's outdoors in a backyard, so I'm off the hook on getting a dress! I'll wear something I have!

Go to Ann Taylor Loft Outlet at Tanger in Deer Park. They have a ton of great dresses on sale. Also, right across is a Banana Republic.

I know - DH and I got married there so we're so excited to go back. My brother's friend who is getting married was at my wedding so he keeps telling me how he can't wait.
I'm already drooling at the thought of the baby lamb chops

Do you want this dress? I only wore it once and I don't have any weddings coming up. It is a Jones New York dress in a size 10, knee length. (if you scroll down you see a nicer picture of it).
