Some before and afters of the house...Added Kerri's room
For those that are interested
We have been in for three weeks and what a busy 3 weeks it has been....
Living room before...
Living Room After (Fireplace is a work in order, putting slate down this week) and still waiting on furniture for this room
Den before
Den after...put down a new floor and painted
Kerri's room before
Kerri's room after...

Dining room before....check out that wallpaper
Dining Room after some wallpaper removal and painting...ohh got rid of that chandelier too
Groovy 1/2 bath before...kinda reminds you of a dirty MTA station
We turned it into a full bath with a walk in shower

Stairs before with groovy yellow velvet wallpaper...
Stairs after..
Our bedroom before...this woman really liked saloon doors
Why move the furniture when you can just paint around it?
Our bedroom after...we knocked out walls and made a big walk in closet...

Wow, you guys did a lot in 3 weeks! I haven't done that much in a year!
It looks great. I love the mantle and the wide plank floor in the living room.

That's one "benefit" of moving into a very badly decorated house. Just redoing the paint, carpet, light fixtures and doors totally transforms the entire look of the house. It really looks nice, now!
