soinlove....immunization question
i just did a search and saw that ur DS ended up getting chicken pox from the vaccine. How bad did it get? How long did it take for it to go away and be pox free? TIA

Hey, sorry. Just noticed this now. It wasn't bad at all. He had a low fever and about a dozen pox on his face. He didn't get them anywhere else on his body. He was irritable for the time they lasted, but the pox didn't seem to bother him itch-wise (he never attemped to scratch them anyway). From the time I noticed the first couple of pox until everything was clear, it lasted about 5 days.
ETA: His pediatrician had said that developing actual pox wasn't too common, but perfectly normal. She said usually you just see a fever and that's about it.
