Catholic School Teachers - question
Can students (kindergartners) have theme lunch bags?
The list says no metal boxes, but ds is begging for a spiderman lunch soft bag.
Yeah or nay?

Of course they can... The kids at my school where I taught had all kinds of lunchboxes with characters on them.
I've seen zipper lunchboxes that were soft with spiderman on it.

We never had any rules against it. I would think the metal ones would just be because of safety reasons.

Many of the metal lunch boxes are made in other coutries and contain lead based paint. Studies have been found that traces of such paint can contaminate the food
Not sure about the soft ones
You may want to do more research on it.
