So...I had a frustrating first morning with the CBEFM
It made me late for class too!
It was day 6 so I had to POAS. I almost posted here because I was SO frustrated! I put the darn stick in, and it kept showing the PAOS symbol flashing. I left it in there forever, no change. I thought it clicked in!!
Well I gave up and threw out that stick. Used a new one and FINALLY it worked. This was a good 20 minutes today.
How annoying that I had to waste a stick and now I'm short one for the next 3 cycles? (well let's hope it won't last 3 cycles  ) I probably didn't have to chuck the stick- I probably just didn't put it in the right way.
Oh well...just thought I'd share my first CBEFM adventure with you all! Has anyone else had issues with the stinkin' thing?

I think at one time or another - EVERYONE has issues with the CBEFM....

For future references if you put the stick in and its still flashing with the little arrow telling you to put a stick in, just take out the stick and put it in again, it will still work,

I did- I kept putting it back in a gazillion times but it wasn't reading it! Now I've wasted a stick!

Aww, no stress! Just FYI, you can stop using the sticks after you get your first peak reading (even if it still tells you to test).
Once you get your first peak (three bars + egg), you will automatically get a second peak and then a following high day.
I always stop once I get that first peak, this way it saves me a few sticks every month!

My CBEFM keeps shutting off even though I used batteries. This monitor is driving me crazy too...I kind of wish I just bought the  sticks.

It is supposed to shut off. It does it to conserve battery life. Just push the button again. It shuts off a little after it tells you to take the sticks out after testing.
