So.........Guess how much I spent @ the Gap today??
$89 .........oh, but I SAVED $70 !!! So, that $90 I spent on a ton of clothes my son really doesn't need is just SO necessary b/c look at how much I SAVED !!!!!!!!!
God help my bank account and my marraige if I ever have a girl !!

See, you are focusing on the wrong thing.
Think about the savings, not what you spent.
This is my problem. And buying in the moment without waiting for a sale because I think it will be gone by the time I get a good sale

 ditto 100%. I spent the same exact amount and saved the same amount and my son doesnt need more stuff either.

I went at lunch and I was GLAD they didn't have much in DD's size that I liked or that was on sale or I could have gone crazy. But I did save a lot, got a bunch of stuff and only spent about $40!  But yea, I know what you mean, DD doesn't really need any of it!

But what a great deal you got! 
although I got an awesome deal today. I bought a bunch of stuff and the cashier rang me up at 40% off. I told her I wanted to use my gap card and she said the manager would come by and give me the extra 5% off. I didn't look down at the register as I was more concerned that I forgot my drivers license at home and when I left the store, realized that the manager gave me an ADDITIONAL 45 % off!!!!! So looking at the receipt, I think the total was $60 with the 40% off but I wound up paying $35!

That's the reason I didn't go. It KILLED me not to go at lunch time (actually still killing me now).
I may break down and go on my way home, but I am REALLY trying hard not to. I still have a Groupon to use and a giftcard so I could possible pay nothing but I am not in LOVE with anything. I am trying not to buy anything just for the sake of buying it.

i am however, distraught. i found the most adorable denim "conductor" hat for DS and it was on sale for $5, would have been like $3 with the 40% off. I picked one up but must have dropped it  wasnt in my bag when i came home.
i got SO many great things but i keep thinking about that hat

I called DH to see if he could go after work because I don't have one near my job--nor will i have time after i get out. i gave him a list of a few things. he just called and spent $130. I was really proud of him--it's his first time shopping solo for my daughters  can't wait to see what he bought.

I had every intention of going this afternoon, but DS went down for a 2 hour nap and then I got lazy, lol.
BUT I did shop for him online last week with the 25% and the 30% stacked coupon so I actually did better with that sale than today's - makes me feel better about not going today.

I ran into TJ Max b/c I needed a plate,just a plate. . .yea the cutest nautica "thanksgiving" outfit and shoes later! but the whole outfit was only $25 bucks

oh g'd, so i really do have a problem then...$179 for me..but thats between the 2 babies..but most was for Luca as i said in the other post..i didnt see that many girls stuff i loved.
