so when do you test?
do you wait to miss for the AF and test if you miss or do you test few days before it's due.
so crazy, been so nauseous this past few days and my boobs are killing me so I don't know if maybe I am ... or it's my mind playing tricks on me or just the AF coming. Due on or around 7th.

I waited until the night before AF was due. It was soo hard but I didn't want to make myself sick if I got a BFN because I tested too early. I'd say your safest bet is testing at 12 DPO and later although some people do get BFPs at 8-10 DPO.

My cycle is not 100% regular. Typically, I get AF from day 28-32. Last month, I tested (for the first time ever) on day 36 as I have had a long cycle here and there and didn't want to get my hopes up. Unfortunately, it was BFN.

I have tested as earlier as 8DPO so Im the wrong person to ask  I dont recommend testing earlier than 12DPO but if you absolutely must I'd wait until 10DPO

8DPO? That's nothing! 
I think 10DPO is the norm but I don't think I've ever made it that long!

so yeah my AF was 2 days late (which NEVER happens, last time I was late was 4 yrs ago and I was pregnant with DC #1) and then I got it.
oh well, moving on ....
