So today is ...
my birthday   And we planned to just have cake and coffee at my mom's house with just me, dh, mom, dad and grandma. Thats all I wanted, nothing big, I'm getting too old for parties! 
So, DH tells me last night, that my mom planned something and 'people are coming', exactly how he put it. He said "I'm just letting you know b/c I know you hate surprises, but I'm not telling you anything more".
Now I don't wanna go at all! I'm feeling particularly fat today and just hating everything about how I look! ANd now I'm supposed to be nice to family, too!

Happy Birthday!!! I know how hard it is to motivate, I have fits evertime we go out. But you'll (hopefully) enjoy it once you are there. Its nice to be surrounded by people you love!
