So today I'm 5 days post transfer....grt
Yesterday I became crampy and my stomach felt a little off. Of course I'm over analyzing everything. My boobs are so sore but I'm not sure if that's from all the progesterone I'm on. I'm not going to test until I go in next Friday for my pregnancy test. Just needed to vent because my other half certainly does not understand.
Plus I have my friends 40th tonight in the city. I wanted to have a drink or two since I'm in 2 week wait and I should live my life right? Well my SO saw on the paper it says to refrain from alcohol u till pregnancy test so he's giving me. Hard time about having a drink. I mean its not like I'm drinking shots or hard liquor- a glass of wine or champagne that's all. Plus it's going to be weird when everyone orders a drink and I'm the seltzer with lime- everyone who knows me knows I like an occasional cocktail and how am I supposed to pull this secret off.

I was in the same situation last week. I wouldn't chance it. I just ordered selzer with lime and told everyone it was a vodka tonic. Luckily the music was loud and no one heard me telling the bartender. Worst case scenario say you're on antibiotics and can't drink.

Thanks. Wi this group. It's hard to pull a fast one on them. One of my friends knows so she and my SO will take tens ordering me my 'drinks'. Thanks :)

I would sip the wine. Then when I could, I would discretely pour it out, or have my husband drink it.
If I was a fertile person and didn't know I was pregnant I would be drinking during the 2WW. Maybe IVF is different, but I've had a glass or wine or two with my 2WW during IUIs.

I did seltzer and lime. It was so crowded no one noticed. Plus I've had wuch nausea the past 2 days I didn't wanna drink. Not sure if its progesterone or something else. Don't wanna over analyze.
