So sad....
My cats left to go live with my parents. I've had Suki for 9 years, Deisel for 4. I'm so upset about this.
I know it's for the best, my daughter's physical health is a higher priority than my own emotional need. They'll be loved, and at least I'll get to see them from time to time. I just can't imagine this house without them.
I'm just so sad. Maddie loves those cats- they were what gave her motivation to crawl. Everytime they came into the room she'd squeal and laugh.
Even the dog seems out of sorts about it.

That must be very hard. I would at least feel relieved that I could go visit them and it's definitely great that your parents took them. But yes, you will miss them, I totally can imagine how hard that must be.

I feel the same way about my cat Scutches. John is highly allergic. I know that he's got a good home w/Grandma and Grandpa, but I miss my boy so much

Thanks so much for all your kind words and thoughts. I talk to my mom every day and she reports that they are doing well. I really miss them, but I know we made the most responsible decision.
