SO sad - miki's fish died
we have had "bob" the beta for about 9 months
last night, DH got a new tank a 2 more fish (which miki named Sunny and Bluefish)
we found bob floating today and we told miki that he got old and died and is now in heaven
well, she started hysterically crying calling out, "bob, boooobbbb"
OMG, i cried right along side her 
she then said through her tears."mommy, maybe we did not feed him enough" 
I told her we did and then reminded her that she still has sunny and bluefish and she then said "but we don't have bob"
OMG, rip my heart out, she has been crying on and off saying "I wanted bob here forever"
we just finished praying for him and talking to him in heaven

nope, dh got cat fish (bottom feeders)...I think the change in the tank/water did him in
she is SO broken up...I just went into her room and she was lookingup, just sobbing

Poor Bob...
I had goldfish..feeder fish gold fish mind you..for YEARS.
My neighbors son "cleaned" the tank for me and killed them..
I..I mean the kids...were devastated
