So, now there's a plan!
Since I had a placental abruption with my son, my peri told me that there is 20x more likelihood that it will happen again, so we are going to take some precautions.
I'm getting signed out of work at 35 weeks (Oct 7  ) and then I'm going to go on a modified bed rest. They are going to do an amnio at 35 weeks to see if her lungs are ready. If she's ready to go at 37 weeks, I'm doing a scheduled c-section (October 24).
I'm so excited (although I'm probably not going to be a November mommy anymore  )
I can't wait!!! So glad to have a plan. That placental abruption with DS was probably one of the scariest things I've ever experienced in my life!
So, just sit tight babygirl, let's get to 37 weeks!

Sounds silly, but I wouldn't mind an October baby either. Not because I just want to be done, just something about October.

I love October, too. Not just because my birthday is then My BIL is Oct 12, DS is Oct 13, I'm Oct 14, my mom is Oct 27 and my stepdad is Oct 30. So she's just joining the October crowd.

My Emily was born in October. It is a great month to have a baby and to celebrate your birthday!

Fwiw, I had the same thing happen with my dd. 4 years ago today actually.
When I got pg with dd, we went over the risks. My ob did say it could happen again, but still scheduled a csection for 39 weeks. I was given progesterone shots every week and had Sonos every 2 weeks, once I got to 28 weeks. My 2nd dd was born at 38 weeks via csection. They took her a little early, but she was still full term.
So I know how scary it is, but it didn't happen to me again.

Sounds like a great plan Take it easy in the meantime.
I'm hoping for a Halloween baby too and there's a very good chance my 11/1/11 baby could end up with an October birthday
