So nervous ......
Im having a really hard time lately...
Tonight for example I have this contracting feeling when I walk around, enough that Im walking real slow and then came home to lay down. IT's like a tightening in my uterus. Not painful so much.....
Well lately I am freaking out over these aches and pains and I dont know what is normal?
As some of you know I had a Stillborn due to pre term labor ....
Well Im starting to feel the same things, Like the contracting feelings and I cant stop worrying somethings going to happen to this PG as well. Although the Dr's say it was a "fluke".
The Dr. Tells you to Go to the ER right away when you can, like my pain issue last week....and Im not doing that, so its hard to get any idea of whats normal.
Im so scared something is going wrong, I cant seem to relax at all.
I feel so bad for DH , he wants me to try to be happy, but Im terrified.
I feel like I shouldnt be feeling this way at only 15 weeks. Like so crampy and "full" down there.
Am I just going nuts??
I start to relax for one minute and then I get these weird "Aches" and I flip out again.
I dont know if I can do this and stay sane.
Im sorry, I guess Im just scared, needed to vent.
Thanks .....

Re: So nervous ......
I can imagine how scared you must be after what you went through but remember you are pregnant and things might feel weird and full and achy and crampy, crazy things are happening inside of you. I don't know what your situation was last time but just try to take it easy as best you can, which I am sure you already know and do...we are all here to listen...but try not to worry so much...it's not good for you or baby...

Re: So nervous ......
Donna- I'm exactly as far along as you and have been feeling the same way. Plus I'm also a worrier. I can't imagine also having the burden of what you went through.
Do you have a doppler? Maybe that might help ease your worries.
I'm sorry you're having these fears

yes the doppler helps...but not so much.
I am just so worried over these feelings , I wish they would describe in more detail how you are suppossed to feel or what could happen.

Re: So nervous ......
If it makes you feel better- what you described about walking feeling pain that causes you to walk slow- I've been having that. I'm so achey low in my abdomen and my lower back. I've also been having sharp pains every now and again. No bleeding or intense prolonged cramps- just enough to make me wince.
I'm attributing it to round ligament pain. If you are concerned (and only YOU know your body)- absolutlely get in touch with your doctor, or even go to the ER. DON'T worry about looking like a crazy lady. The last thing you should have to do is stress over what might be happening.
Considering what you have been through, it's too bad your doctor can't give you weekly sonos to ensure things are progressing as they should.

Re: So nervous ......
I feel the same way at 20 weeks. The "fullness" and the aches - it's making me crazy.
I can't imagine how much more intensified it is for you because of your past experiences.
I was saying to DH last night that I thought I was supposed to get CALMER as the weeks went on and instead I feel increasingly anxious.
I won't even type all the awful things I imagine have happened on a daily basis.
When I catch myself thinking horrible things (worst case scenario type of stuff) I now say "STOP!" to myself. Sometimes even outloud. And I try to refocus on something positive or distract myself.
And every time I wipe and there is no blood or I check the heartbeat and get a nice strong reading I give myself a little pep talk that things are fine and I should concentrate on that.
Easier said than done, I know. But it seems to help when I can remember to do it.
I'm so sorry you are feeling this way!!

Donna I am so sorry you are feeling like this. I can't even imagine what you went through, but I was so nervous after my m/c that I know you are feeling much more anxious.
Can you talk to your Dr.? See if he can see you just to put your mind at ease? I have no idea about the pains you are describing, but it's true - so many things are happening in there that it's a wonder we aren't all doubled over in agony for the full 9 months.
Let me know what happens....this should be a wonderful Christmas for you, I hope the Dr. can help that happen for you!

Re: So nervous ......
Your body is doing all kinds of weird things right now and every pregnancy is different and feels different, so I think its normal for you to worry. God knows I did. I worried the whole time. But you cant let it consume you. Have you talked to your dr about it all? Maybe they can suggest someone you can talk to or some ideas to help you relax?

I have been feeling crappy for such a long time now. And feeling like im 85 since like week 20. Like the girls say, it may just be this pregnancy. Im a huge worrier myself and thought that I was getting pre-eclampsia early on because my feet have been swollen since week 14. I would test my pressure everytime I was in Target just to make sure nothing was wrong. Well, here i am at 35 weeks and so far so good. Try to relax and call you doctor thats what they are there for!!
I hope everything works out for you. Im sure everything is fine.

Re: So nervous ......
Donna - I completely understand where you are coming from. What you went through must have been so devastating and scary. I would call the doctor. I'm sure that they won't mind seeing you before then to put your mind at ease. Keep using the doppler - hearting that strong heartbeat should be able to put your mind at ease for the night.
You know your body - if something feels abnormal then go to the doctor. I am constantly feeling little twinges and cramps throughout the day. I just think our bodies go through soooo much during pregnancy.
I am praying for you and your little peanut though sweetie!! And I hope you get a little break soon!
