So I'm 21 weeks and still...
no feeling of kicking or the 'flutters'...did anyone else wait this long or longer? I'm not usually anxious, but I hope to feel something soon. I should add, I don't think anything is wrong (knock on wood) but I'm just ready to feel this baby!

I am 24 weeks now and just started to really feel him kicking a few weeks ago. You will start to notice it more in the coming weeks!!

Re: So I'm 21 weeks and still...
It doesn't start becoming regular and really noticeable until a bit passed where you are. I wouldn't be surprised if any day now you start to feel it. I first saw and felt a really string kick from the outside of my belly on 12/26 which was week 24, I think.
It can also entirely depend upon the baby's position. My can bend it like Beckham (my right side) My is pretty quiet (left side). I only feel his kicks if I'm laying on my left side or if his sister really belts him one because she's trying to start a fight (oh, yeah, that happens, usually at 3 am).

Re: So I'm 21 weeks and still...
you probably feel them but don't realize it. The baby is probably moving around when you are and right now they aren't very strong so unless you are sitting completely still doing nothing 24/7 you won't feel a thing!
My DD never kicked or moved. Even as she got bigger. I always thought something was wrong, but she was just a bum!!!

Re: So I'm 21 weeks and still...
Perfectly normal. I felt very faint flutters at 19 weeks, when I was home sick in bed for days. In my experience, you'll notice it mostly in the beginning when you're doing nothing-- laying in bed, sitting watching TV, etc., not moving up & around. You will feel it all the time soon, but to first feel some movements, it's easier when you're doing nothing at the time, IMO!

I remember going thru that - esp. because I swore I felt movement at around 15 wks - I was like - what happened?
But I really began feeling things around 25 wks or so - you will too!

Re: So I'm 21 weeks and still...
I felt stuff at 18 weeks - 20 weeks. Then, nothing, nada, zilch - until about 22 or 23 weeks. Totally normal I hear!

Re: So I'm 21 weeks and still...
You should feel the baby move any day now. My flutters started at like wwek 17 and my kicks at like week 19. Now I am 22 weeks and feel the baby move all of the time and kick me as well. I can even see it from the outside. Your probably just dont notice it yet.
