So I went to my GYN today...
and I have to go back tonight for a sono... I don't know what to make of the rush for the sono... has this happened to anyone?

Did they do a urine or blood test while you were there?
Did your dr give you any indication of why you would be getting the sono?

UPDATED: So I went to my GYN today...
Ok... so I got back from my sono. According to the tech, my GYN wanted to check to see if I had any indications as to whether or not I had ovulated and to check for cysts/follicles.
So... there's good news, great news and "I don't know what to make of it until the doctor calls me tomorrow" news.
Good news: I definitely ovulated... the presence of fluid behind my uterus indicated that. Which also explains the discomfort I've been experiencing the last three days...
Great news:
a. There is what appears to be a "dominant follicle" on my right ovary (acc. to the tech, that can indicate pregnancy  ... I'm not gonna get my hopes up just yet... so I'm just gonna )
b. We BD'd using Deanna's Plan, so we should have caught the O'ing the day before or day of.
The "I don't know what to make of it..." news: I have HUGE cyst on my left ovary about the size of a half dollar coin. Based on the previous sono (from March) it has increased in size (previously it was 5cm)
So, now that I know what the deal is... he has me going for blood work on cd3 of my next cycle (if I'm not PG) and DH has to go for a SA the same day... FINALLY, he has to something other than the fun stuff!

1. 'Cuz the water reflects into the sky and the sky picks up on the color??? H E L L if I know! :)
2. GYN supposed to be calling me today with a "final" analysis of the scans... so when he does I have LOOOONNNNNGGG list of ??s for him... he's gonna regret sending me for a sono!

GOOD - just make sure you don't just yes him to death. If you don't understand something - ASK again! I know that sounds silly...but i know myself sometimes, i'll listen and go hmmmm...and regret not asking when i had the chance!

i had a cyst 5cm and they just had to keep checking on it.. and eventually it went down ...
but it sounds promising!! just keep positive!!
