'cuz after a year of this...I thought a new tactic would be fun. Chat Icon Anyway, I have really been enjoying it; I find it really cool to see your body respond to different hormones, etc.

Anyway...here's my question...

At what point in one's cycle (if any) would you be able to notice if your chart "looks good" or "looks bad" as far as pregnancy? In other words, when can I start obsessing? Chat Icon I'm 8dpo today!

Around 8DPO Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Im just teasing Chat Icon Chat Icon well kinda…
You CAN have an implantation dip anywhere between 7-10DPO. It would be an outlying lower than average temp (sometimes even below the coverline). It would be about a day (although I have seen two days) and then go back up to regular post-O temps. BUT this is one of those things that CAN happen if you are preg, might happen if you ARENT preg, and may not happen even if you are PREG.. so don’t look into it too much!!

The other thing is a triphasic chart. After implantation (anywhere after 7-10DPO) your temp would rise again into a new series of high temps that are higher than your normal post-O temps. Once again though this is one of those things that CAN happen if you are preg, might happen if you ARENT preg, and may not happen even if you are PREG…

There’s really nothing specific in charting that has an EXTREMELY high likelihood of pregnancy. You will see charts that have all the signs and be BFN, and charts that look terrible and are BFPs…

So unless you WANT to torture yourself not to look into too much!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thanks, FlowerWife! I will obsess nevertheless...it's been preventing me from purchasing HPTs--and ordinarily I would have tested today at 9po! Chat Icon

LB, I added the chart just for fun...eh, too early to tell I guess...

My first chart!!
