so I started....
Clomid last night for the first time (100mg). I was telling my husband about the possible side effects and needless to say he was "thrilled". He was pretending to talk to the dog last night saying "Your mama's gonna be a basket case for a little while"  Let's see how funny he thinks his azz is when he's sleeping WITH the dog on the COUCH!!!!! Just kidding.
Anyways this may seem like a silly question but on average how many viable follies can you get with clomid. I dont have a problem ovulating or anything like that. We're dealing with male factor IF and the doctor wants to be more aggressive after some failed attempts at conceiving.

The most I ever got was 5 follies. good luck! the side effects really aren't that bed.

Aren't they yummy - ICK  ....In my case I have a mild form of PCOS and at most I got was 2 mature follies (usually 1)..Not sure if there is a norm I was taking 150mg ...good Luck !

They are gross. It's like chalk. I'm older (was 39 when taking clomid) and I was on it 3 times. Two times I got 3 follies and one time I got 2 follies. My cycles are very regular (I guess thank goodness for some miracles). Didn't work for me and it was something I should not have been on b/c I have uterus problems.
Good luck. I really didn't have any side effects. I think I got night sweats one night. But, sometimes I wear too much to bed (I'm talking flannel pj's b/c we keep the house freezing) and end up getting hot while i sleep and I wake up sweaty. So who knows. I'm sure you will be fine.

The most I got with Clomid was 3 and I ovulate on my own.
