So I spent the night in the ER
Around 9:00, I finished ironing for the week. I sat down around 9:30 to watch TV and felt like I had to pee. Go upstairs to pee and nothing comes out. Great. Come back down and now i have shooting pains down there and pain radiating from front to back on my left side. Cannot find a comfortable spot. Tell my DH and he thinks I am overreacting....I start crying bc the pain becomes unbearable...I call my doctor and she sends me to the ER bc it sounds like kidney stones 
I go to the ER and wait to be seen...in excruciating pain...finally get into a room and now I am nauseous and vomiting...I tell DH please go get someone bc I cant take the pain anymore....OMG it was beyond anything I have felt before...finally the nurse comes in and gives me pain meds...I go to get a CT and when the results come back, yep - I've got a 3mm stone!!! We get home around 630am and now I am waiting for it to pass...still in pain but resting now...
OH and get this - the doctor said, well have there been any major changes to your diet recently? So I tell him about the PCOS and how I am doing south beach. He says are you eating a lot of cheese?? So I said, yes! He said its possible the calcium could have built up in my system
So anyway, thats my story and now I am going back to bed!!!!

Oh no. My DH suffers from them and about 3 months ago he got it again. Everything you just said is what happened with us (him, especially, I just sat there in a helpless panic). Though he passed this one quickly (not like the last times he's had this). They say its worse than giving birth. So you will now have to get there so you can compare

When I started Met I went on South Beach Diet. My fil warned me about tea. He is on the same diet and the same meds and gets kidney stones if he drinks too much tea. I am not sure the connection but I cut down my green tea intake just to be careful. Just a thought. I hope you feel better

You have bronchitis - oh no!!  That's terrible esp this time of year. I went to Somerset Medical Center...nice hospital but OMG the waiting....
BethAnn - that is what I am so scared of - the reoccurrence - the doctor did warn me about that!
You know, I was thinking....maybe that's why the 1st IVF did not work - because if it had, I would be about 8 weeks right now!
I still haven't passed the stone   I'm planning on going to work tomorrow but ew how weird would it be having that happen at work?! Praying that it passes tonight

Did they say how long it will take to pass? I might not go to work tomorrow if you risk being in that much pain again. What if you feel crummy and can't drive yourself home.
Take it easy and feel better.
