Regardless of whether or not this child was from here, Israel or Mars, the fact still remains that if you did not have your child vaccinated against this diseas and you were in the same place as that child was, then you have a reason to be very worried and will need to bring your child in to be checked out. 
But the MMR isn't given until 15-18 months, so babies younger than that would be at risk no matter what.
This happened at my day care in the baby room with a baby who went to FL on caught Chicken Pox on the plane and our baby room was infested as a result.
Well according to the CDC the range is 12-15 months - but some people chose to delay it to 15 months - 2 years
My Bad you are right. I was going my my own peds schedule.
