No because she didn't really look to eat any. DH and I didn't eat any in front of her. If she wanted I would probably let her have a few bites though.

They were allowed one piece while we were walking and one after dinner. In a few days, all of the candy will be spoiled anyway.Chat Icon

Yes, Andrew has a bite sized Snickers and a bag of pretzels for a snack before bed. The rest mommy and daddy plan to eat! Chat Icon

MY husband has a big sweet tooth so he let Patrick eat more then I would have liked. I made sure I scrubbed his teeth last night!!

ETA: My daughter enjoyed a couple graham crackers.

Sean had 1 fun size 3 musketeers and didn't ask for more. Chat Icon I probably would have let him have another piece or two, but that's it.

Kevin got nothing. Chat Icon Chat Icon

inadvertently, yes. I gave her a package of runts to chew on and she got the package open and one got in her mouth. Luckily my neighbor noticed and I fished it out of her mouth!!!

Definitley, it is halloween!! I did notice that for DD she was much more interested to open the candy and taste it rather then eat the whole thing. I think she had 2 lollypops and 2 chocolates, and it was great to see her enjoy the day!

So true. Mine is only 5 months but still once the kids discover they can eat candy then it's over. Halloween is the exception though where you kind of have to let them eat a little more candy than you normally do.

I said to some of the trick or treaters yesterday "hey guys do you like going to the Dentist". So of course they were like "nooooooo" so then I go "then don't eat all the candy at once"...LOL

The parents were laughing...Chat Icon

Out of the whole pumkin full of candy that DD collected all she wanted to eat was a bag of pototo chips. I guess she likes her salt better than sweets.
