So confused (opk)
So the first two months I was using OPK I was testing with FMU. I was getting two days of highs before my peak day. Now this month I'm testing mid day after holding my pee for 4 hours. Yesterday I got a negative (around noon) and today I went right to solid smiley (2pm). Does that seem right?

Yes, that could be right. You didn't have your surge yesterday, you did today. Doesn't always detect the "almost"
But I do remember when I was using smileys, they say to use FMU. Regular OPKs are better later

that's why i hate using the advanced one. i just use the regular clear blue digital ovulation test

This. But for me - my afternoon pee was always more potent for some reason.. So def test am and pm so you don't miss surge

For OPK the surge usually happens later in the day so you are not supposed to use FMU.
FMU is for PG tests. test later in the day for OPK but make sure you hold it for a few hrs.

Well the CBE tests say to use the first urine after your longest sleep so I was doing it once a day, first thing in the AM. That was for two months. This month we decided to try Deanna's plan which says to test in the afternoon. Since I'm neurotic and I'm so tired of BFN's, I tested this morning but with a different OPK and I got a low reading. So I'm guessing I just got the reading at the right time yesterday? For a control freak like me, this has been such a frustrating process
