so..
i went off the pill in november and and had a normal period right on time in early december. i should have gotten my period again 2 days ago according to my usual cycle and the time of the month i ovulated. (it's usually 14 days after right?)
yesterday i had some very very light spotting (brownish) but no period
oh and lots of cramps too!
now i have been pregnant 3 times and i do NOT feel pregnant so that's probably out but i was just wondering if anyone can tell me what their cycles were like after getting off the pill.

mine were pretty regular a day off here & there... but its normal for it to be off a bit when you first stop taking them.

It took me 34 days to get my period after BCP. Not bad.
The next month - 29 days
The next month - 29 days
The next month - 30 days
The next month - 29 days
The next month - 28 days
The next month - 28 days
The flow is heavier but I only get it for 3 days - including spotting. The cramps come a week to 10 days before and they stink. The periods are NOTHING like they were before I went on the pill. I should mention I was on them for 15 years. I think I regulated pretty fast.
I think it is important to remember that everyone is different.

just out of curiosity though are you getting your periods 14 days after ovulating or is that not consistent?

When the cycles were 29 and 30 days, I was getting positives on my OPKs on day 17. Once they were 28 days, it was day 13. According to my lame calendar, I got my period 16 days after the positive on my last OPK. Hope that helps.

My first month off of the pill, I got my period in 34 days-- which was my normal cycle before the pill. My second period took 42 days to show up-- an extra week. I am waiting for my third period off the pill and I will either get it jan 9th or thr 17th depending on what my body is doing.
I would say that I had weird little cramps throughout-- which I did not have before the pill or while on the pill.. I don;t think I had any spotting-- but, my periods certainly took a while to really get going- so some spotting at the beginning of it.
