 Slow cooker reccomendations
Can anyone recommend their slow cooker? I got a new one a couple of years ago, but I absolutely hate it. It cooks at too high a temp no matter the setting and always burns/over cooks the food. It's a 6qt crock-pot brand one. I enjoy using a slow cooker and I plan to use it a bit more once the new baby arrives in November. I would like to have one that actually works! Please recommend yours!

Im following this post. I have a crock pot like yours. I made a roast the other day. It was suppose to take 8 to 10 hours on low. Um it was ready in 4 hours.

 Re: Slow cooker reccomendations
Cook's Illustrated recommends this one
DH wants one, I hesitate because I really don't have the storage or counter space. But if it means he cooks, then I will order it for him.

 Re: Slow cooker reccomendations
I have this one and love it.

Its not cheap, but the features I love are that you can use the insert on the stove top. And it switches over to "warm" setting when it is done cooking. I would def recommend finding one with those features.

 Slow cooker reccomendations
I love my ninja! I can sear my meats and then set it to slow cook all in one pot. I do a lot of regular cooking and slow cooking in it.

 Re: Slow cooker reccomendations
I have a crock pot brand one from Target and I love it. You set the time and it turns to warm when it's done. Never had an issue with it.
