Slow Cook Question
Hi Ladies,
I'd really like to make slow cooked pulled pork this weekend. I have all my recipes; will buy supplies later in the week. I hope this doens't sound stupid; but i'm at a lost as to finding 8 hours to have it in the oven! I'm never home for 8 hours except while i'm sleeping!! Do you cook it over night so that it would be ready for the next day??

You put it in the crockpot even when you're not home?
I'm just so nervous about keeping something turned on when no one is in the house.

Re: Slow Cook Question
Yes it will be fine. keep it away from papers and stuff...the outside doesn't get hot. that's the idea of the slow cooker..set it and forget it!!

Re: Slow Cook Question
I set it up in the AM and eat when I get home. I was nervous at first, but now I use it all the time!
I used to try and cook it overnight while I was sleeping, but I always woke up b/c it made my house smell delicious....and then I would get mad that I was awake!
