pardon me sounding dumb but...
i see these posts etc that say to sleep on your left side. why is this?
is the no belly thing for precaution or really a big no no? i fall asleep on my back or side but wake up on my stomach....
should i be worried?

Sleeping on your left gives the best blood flow to the baby.

This...but my doctor always said sleep how you are comfortable. Your body will let you know if you need to change positions for the baby.

I'm glad to know our doctors said that because I've been obsessive about trying to stay on my left side whenever possible and it's getting to be a pain in the side - literally!

sleeping question
As my dr said sleep anyway you want your body will tell you when to roll over and I can tell you at 32w that's definitely the case. Problem is its getting harder to roll over. Lol.

Re: sleeping question
I always sleep on my left when my stomach hurts (heartburn, gas, whatever) because back in HS the nurse said that it helps things "flow" better lol. I swear by this lol.
