sleeping face down?
DD enjoys sleeping in very odd positions. Like with her head in the corner of her crib, legs in the air, butt in the air, on her side with her entire body (facing front) with her face smooshed against the side etc. But lately she's been sleeping face down. Not even leaning a little to one side..just completely face down. So naturally I go in there every 3 secs to check on her. And she's fine...still breathing lol If i make noise to try and get her to move, she lifts her head, looks at me, then goes right back face down.
She's ok right? At this point she would move it if she was uncomfy??
she's 6.5 months

Re: sleeping face down?
My dr just said put him down on his back and at this point not to worry if he rolls to side or onto his belly.
I guess the thought is if they can get into that position they can get out of it as belly to back is easier then back to belly.

Re: sleeping face down?
DD has been doing the same thing!! It freaks me out, but I mean, what can we do about it? Even if we move them, won't they just do it again once we leave? I would think it's okay bc we know they can turn themselves over, right?

Re: sleeping face down?
DS did this too. Scared the freak out of us. I got the Angelcare monitor after that.
