Sleeping
Do you guys notice that when your little one sleeps more during the day that it affects them sleeping at night? Ryan has been sleeping ALOT today and I am afraid that he won't go to bed tonight.

Re: Sleeping
Actually, the Healthy Sleep Habits book implies that if your baby sleeps more during the day, that the baby will sleep more at night. Sounds crazy, but I've found that to be true for us. "Sleep begets sleep"

Re: Sleeping
I actually found that it doesn't make her not sleep at night. I think when she refuses to nap during the day she's crankier at night and fights sleep more.

ditto, this has always been true for us.
And even lately DS has been protesting naps without one he will defintely sleep restlessly and even get up annoyed during the night. With a 2-3 hour nap, not a peep for 12 hours.
