Don't get me wrong -- the first few weeks of being a mom are all about sleep deprivation but there is no way sleeping BEFORE the baby prepares you for it.
In the end, all the sleep deprived times are worth it and then some.

You can't bank sleep but you can appreciate and relish and worship it while you still can
Make a deliberate effort to sleep where ever, whenever so that once the baby comes can you think back fondly of your old friend sleep

ITA!!! I've been missing my friend sleep since 4/20/2010
I must say though the freqent nightly bathroom trips kinda prepared me for the constant waking up..but nothing prepared me for the having to stay up part of it and being functional
We'll see what it'll be like with 2 under 2. I'll really be thinking back to the days before 4/20/10
