Skirt Steak
The Freshway by me has skirt steak & I'd like to try it. I've never made it before. Is it good on the grill?
Any suggestions? Prep, grilling time etc...

Re: Skirt Steak
Tastes good marinated. Short cooking time. Cut against the grain for tender bites

Re: Skirt Steak
Definitely marinate it. I like to marinate it in a teriyaki marinade or a simple garlic and oil depending on what I am serving with it.
We usually make it on the grill or sautee in a pan.
it is fairly thin so it cooks quickly.

Re: Skirt Steak
The beauty of skirt steak is it just absorbs the yummy marinades... you can do fajita style and do a lime marinade or a rip off of Franks Duck sauce, soy sauce and fresh garlic
Racheeeee I learned the hard way not to make it on the Pampered Chef b/c it was hard to clean BUT I do it on my broiling pan as we live in an apartment and have no BBQ.
I would prefer to BBQ it b/c that Franks marinade makes great crispy edges b/c of the sugar carmelizing.
