Its funny that you ask this because after I had my 1st baby, I was feeling very overwhelmed in the days following and my mom said to me that if I get one thing done every day besides taking care of the baby, make that thing be making the bed. She said it will make me feel better to have a neat bedroom and to have at least one thing accomplished every day and that it even might motivate me to get other things accomplished too. and she was so totally right! I make my bed every day now and it definitely sets the tone for the day. I feel scattered and disorganized if I dont.

It's the one thing I do consistently. It's easy and I feel like I did something around the house.

I make my bed every single day. I could never leave my house knowing that my bed is not made.

I very rarely make the bed. When I do a major cleaning and at least once a week when I change the sheets, I make it.
I put out the whole spread when I am having company or I want to feel fancy.

We rarely make the bed. Only when we are having people over or when I'm cleaning my room. I'm not a morning person and am always running around like a crazy person in the morning and the making the bed is the last thing on my mind when I leave for work. Also, me and DH pull the blankets around a lot and I use extra blankets so it's a pain to make the bed every day...lol...Soo I highly doubt I will start doing it once the baby arrives :)

I always do for 2 reasons:
I have a cat and don't want her fur inside the sheets
The thought of the air dust that settles on our furniture inside our sheets grosses me out.
I'm nuts!

Before DS was born DH left for work after me. He made the bed everyday.
After DS was born I became a SAHM. Bed is only made when company is coming

No, I don't make it, as an adult at least lol I figure that I'm just going to mess it up again that night so why bother? If we have company who will see our bedroom then we'll make the bed., And when we change the sheets we do.
