OK, So I have two follies right now that are about the same size....going in for IUI this wknd...I go back Friday to check their size...if they are both growing at the same rate...does this mean there is a chance for twins? How does this work? Thanks...I am kinda clueless about this

Re: Silly
Just the fact that there are 2 mature follies means there's a chance for twins. It doesn't matter if they are the same size. Good luck!

Re: Silly
if you are on fertility meds it has nothing to do with twins being in your family or not. and just because twins run in your family doesnt mean both eggs will fertilize and implant. your chances are the same as anyone else who ovulates two mature eggs.
if you DID NOT do fertility meds then yes, you may ovulate two eggs regularly, which can be genetic.
