Silhouette Cameo - question
It says it has 51 exclusive cuttable designs.
So does it ONLY cut those 51 designs? Or can you design your own anything (words, shapes, etc) and it will print them?
If you can design your own, is it only with a specific program?
I'm loving this machine and might just put it on my Christmas list!!!

I think it comes with software that allows you to cut letters using fonts you have on your computer. Silhouette has an online store where you can purchase images. You can also cut SVG files...tons can be found for free online or you can purchase them from online retailers like Lettering Delights. I am pretty sure you can import these SVG files into the Studio software that comes with the machine.
I don't know how to design my own images but I am sure there is a way to do it.
I'm interested in the cameo also but I already have a cricut so I'll probably wait until next year before I think about upgrading.

Comes with a big price tag compared to the Silhouette. IDK if I would spend $399 vs $269 - especially since the Silhouette has a proven track record with the 9" version.
