Signed DS up for preschool and belly in knots already!
He wil be 3 1/2 in Sept. so I thought he could use the socialization. He rarely gets to play with other kids. I'm already sick to my stomach thinking about leaving him there. He has never been left with anyone except his grandparents. I have so many thoughts and worries. Will the kids be nice to him? Will he have friends? Will he cry for us? Will he think we abandoned him? Please tell me I'm not crazy

Awwww that's great! 3.5 is a great age and I'm sure he will fit right in. While in the beginning it takes a while to adjust, I'm sure your son will love it and have a lot of fun! He will definitely not feel like you abandoned him. My little guy started when he was just 2 THAT was tough!

We are in the same exact position. DD has never been alone with anyone other than grandma (and that's rarely). She is actually really good, I know she will do fine but it's going to be hard for me. But she needs it for sure, and I need the time myself too. I can't believe it's approaching so soon. I really can relate.
How often is your DS going? DD is going 3 days a week for about 2.5 hrs or so a day.

Your DC will love it!!!!!! It was actually fun picking DS up everyday and seeing how happy he was and what he had learned!!! We had our best convo's on the way home when he would tell me about what happened at school that day!

Are you a SAHM? I am, and can't imagine what it will be like to actually have that time to myself after all this time. Going to be weird and will take some time to get used to. Looking forward to it though. How about you?

I'm only a SAHM over the summer. I'm a teacher so I'll be at work but I'm sure it will be great for you to have some alone time! Enjoy it!
